referee query pls

hi everyone
i have a question regarding the referee for the an( naturalisation) form.can someone who has had a british passport for the last one year be a referee or does the person have to have had a british passport for longer. can anyone pls advise.

Does they ask on the form for a minimum period british passport should have been held?

Again the answer to your question is tied to what is said in the application form guidance. What does it say.

Can I respectfully say, please read the form and guide AN.
Just read what is actually written there, and not imagine something as written there when actually it is not.
