Passport for baby born in the UK

Dear Adviser,
My daughter was born in Feb 2012 in the UK. I am on Tier 1 at present but will be applying for ILR on the basis of 10 years in September 2012.
My wife is on separate Tier 1 and will be eligible for ILR in June 2013 on the basis of Tier 1.
My question is can we apply for a British passport for my daughter once I receive my ILR?
If yes what is the procedure?
If no what are my options?
