Hi
Please any one can guide me if I can move my citizen ceremony to another council as my council date not fitting with my schedule and they dont do private ceremony. Their next one is in dec 12.
Any guidence please

Your designated (original) council will have to contact your preferred council and formally make the transfer.

spoken to council they saying you have to request to homeoffice .

My advice is attend the ceremony at your council. Take a day off work. Pull a sickie or whatever. It will be easier to climb mount everest than changing council via homeoffice.

Your are required to attend the ceremony within 90 days. I find it hard to believe there aren't several ceremonies until December (unless you can't attend any of those).
You will need to contact the HO which will need to get your certificate back from the council and send it to the new one. You might find out that by the time this happens, December is just around the corner.
