Yes.
I don't see why her affairs with the HCI would matter.

Hi Jambo
I have used her as second referee for myself, wife and kid.
I would be grateful to you if you advice me can i use my friend as 1st referee who is a dentist, for myself, wife and kid.
He knows us very well for the last 10 years.can i use him as 1st referee.he is not our dentist as he practice in dundee.
Our GP does not want to sign for us and school teacher does not want to be 1st referee for my son.
We would be applying for MN1 Registration based on discretion 3(1) as he was born in india and has ILR for the last 1 year.

He doesn't need to be your dentist. His qualifications are enough. He can say he knows you as a friend. That's fine.
For your child, just add a note that the GP and teacher were not willing to act as referees and you used a professional referee which is a family friend. The HO is not very strict when it comes to young children under 10 (regardless if you apply under 1(3) or 3(1)).

This is not required but might help explain the occupation / work evidence you provide in section 3.

Hi Jambo
Sorry for troubling you by asking questions.I have appointment with NCS next friday and I would like to know is it ok if i put my previous part time employment which was from sept 2011 till april 1st week 2012 and ignore my 10 days work which i worked from july end till aug 10th.
Will UKBA ask me why i have not mentioned the 10 day work as HMRC issued me a letter in april 2012 saying that my new tax code reference is 12etc.
will it be a issue if i mention previous NEXT Tax code reference ?
Regards
Jaffar

hi Jaffar,
as per my understanding, it's not a requirement as such to have employment to be able to qualify for naturalization or british citizenship.
it comes under good character but it doesn't affect you adversely if you're not employed, in a matter of fact, you could be on job seekers allowance and that would be absolutely fine.
PS: all this applies if you're on ILR though.

Hi Helpmeplease
Thank you for your reply.I agree with you having employment is not a requirement for British Naturalisation.
My concern My Taxcode reference was different from april 2011 to april 2012 and from april 2012 till april 2013.
If i did not mention the work which i did for 10 days during olympics and mention previous taxcode reference, will it be a issue.
I will wait to hear from Jambo as well.
Regards
Jaffar

Tax reference normally changes between jobs so that's quite normal. I believe the HO would use your NI to search for your tax records (if they wish) so I would not worry too much. Either put unemployed and recent employent or previous one. Shouldn't really matter too much.
