Hi Everyone,

I applied for ILR on 06/06/2012 at PEO after 5 years of HSMP + Tier 1 but received my ILR 6 weeks later because they needed to carry further checks.

On my ILR card there are 2 dates, card is valid until 06/06/2022 but it has been issued on 19/07/2012 . Now my question is when has the 12 months period started and which is the earliest date that I can apply for citizenship ?

Should I make my application on 06/06/2013 or 19/07/2013 ?

The date that is relevant here would be the date your ILR was issued. I.e. You can apply for BC 12 months after 19/07/2012, so long as you meet all other requirements for BC.
