Hi, we had our first child last month(in UK) and i will have my ILR next month(fingers crossed!!).. I have been advised to apply straight for british passport rather than indian and then ILR etc by various solicitors.
Is this possible or i have to apply for indian passport first??

Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated.

Did your spouse have ILR/British citizenship when your child was born?
