Citizenship Application for absence over 2 years & CCJ

Hi everyone.

I am new to the forum and this is my first time.

I migrated to UK in June 2006 under the HSMP.

I got my extension of 4 years after 1 year as I was under the old rules (JR1)

I got my ILR in 2010 after 4 years in the UK (1 year before my HSMP expired) once again due to old rule (JR2)

I got married to another HSMP holder who had his HSMP extended as Tier 1 general in 2008 (he too arrived in teh Uk in June 2006 but was under new rules) . However we married in India in September 2009.

He switched his visa from Tier 1 general to HSMP Partner and got entry clearance to that effect.

He applied with me for ILR in September 2010 (after 4 years in UK).

We got it in the same day service.

We moved back to India in 2010 as my husband got a project in India.

We came back to UK this year in March 2012 as my husband's project concluded and I was pregnant.

Our baby was born in the UK this year and he has a British Passport. No problems with that.

We now intend to apply for British Passport but our absences are that of almost 1000 days.

Because I moved back I failed to pay one of my credit cards and they put a CCJ under my name. I have paid that card last year and now that CCJ is satisfied.

Does any one know when can or should we apply for Citizenship and whether we can apply this year with these many absences.

Will my CCJ (although satisfied and paid now) affect my application now or ever?

See Q3 in Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting.

With this number of absences you are probably looking at 2017 (fresh 5 years).
