Hi, thanks for your assistance in advance.

I am getting my ILR in October but I have a job offer in NY which I want to take it for at least 6-9 months. (180-270 days)

I have already been outside UK for about 180 days in last 5 years.

Can I come back from NEw York and live in UK again for another year and then apply for naturalisation. According to my calcs I will be out for less than 450 days in the 5 years. so would it be all Ok?

Have I missed anything ? Or should I reject the great chance to work in NY to get naturalisation in 12 months.

Regards

Ash

Yes. Probably 9 months after you return would be enough to meet the requirement of less than 90 days in the last year.
