i have been granted naturalization and due to apply for passport, but im also thinking of changing my first name via deed poll servies,question is can i request my new name to appear on my passport ?

do i have togo back to ukba and amend my naturalization first?

I'm also thinking of dropping my two first names and keep only the third name as first name. Having difficulty as the name is too long. Does it need a deed poll to drop a first name? I guess i can use the shortened name in the passport application and give the full name in section 8?
