Child born in UK living outside - Citizenship query

Hi,
My child is born in UK before we got ILR and holds Indian passport. So she comes under Section 1(3) to consider for BC.

I am planning to take BC (I now have ILR).

Now my question is if I move out of UK (as BC), can I apply for BC for my child from outside under Section 1(3) at any time before she turns 18? Will this still be the case of entitlement or does she have to meet any requirements?

I have looked on the forum but can't find the answer to this case explicitly.

Thanks.

Yes.

See Q1 in Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting - Children (read carefully the second paragraph under UK born).

Thanks. One more clarification please.

In this case, if she wants to return / travel to UK from outside, what is the process?
Will she have to get visa / citizenship before she can return?
She currently has ILR.

The same question applies to my wife. She currently has ILR. Now after I take BC, if we move out what is the process for them to return / travel to UK?

Thanks.

If you live in the UK, then you becoming BC has no affect on your wife/child ILR status. Their status is independent from you.

If a person leaves the UK upto 2 years, he can still use the ILR. Afterwards, he might need to apply for a visa.
