I have got question regarding 5 years qualifying period for BC. Does 5 years qualifying period start when you were granted HSMP or the time spent on student visa also counts towards it.
I was on student visa and SEGS from 10/2003 to 08/03/2007. Granted HSMP on 08/03/2007 to 08/03/2012 and got ILR 13/02/2012. When can I apply for BC? Can I apply on 14/02/2013 or do I have to wait until 09/03/2013?

2013-5=2008. You were on HSMP in 2008 so your student time is not relevant in any case.
