I applied for a British passort for my child ( 6 weeks), application was received and on 1st nov and a letter was sent to countersignatory on 8th nov ( my Team Manager) , just wondering if anyone knows what this letter is? is that normal? on same note, he hsnt received any letter yet , it been a week now and second class delivery dosnt take that long .. just concerned . please advise

just relax mate your son's passport will surely arrive soon.

i remember roughly that my son's passport process took close to 1 month when i applied last october.

however, what is this letter that goes out to countersignatory? My countersignatory, filled in details of the company he ( and me) works for, but dnt know where they sent letter, home adderss or office address? i guess they cn find the home adress from his passport number he provided.
