Hi All,

Please clarify, Myself and wife got ILR mid of last month and applied for MN1 for our baby. We have Tier 1 visa valid until April 2013 (all 3 of us).Since we applied through NCS , we have all our passports, problem is we have urgent travel in 2 weeks time. I am sure it will take more time for our childs Mn1 application and top of it , getting BC passport and Getting Indian visa, Can we travel with this siutation and coming back , our son will have T1 general dependant visa (i think will become invalid bec we have ILR ?) or can I show application acknowledgement(which I have not received yet) + tier 1 general visa + his nursery details (just to make sure about identity) + his India passport ? Please suggest a way to make re entry to UK smoothly.
regards
Raj

I believe you will be fine. You might need to explain the situation once you reach the UK border but if you carry evidence of the MN1 application, the child will be admitted.

Thank you very much Jambo for the links and information. So with NCS receipt +Valid Visa (T1 GEN dependant) + Indian Passport should be fine to come back.
