Hi,

I have been in UK for 6 years and meet all criterial for applying BC.

I am going India next week for very long time (May be 2-3 years).

Can I apply for british citizenship from India (i.e. with in 1-2 months)?

If yes, Do I need to come UK for citizenship ceremony or can I take this in India?

Any help or comment in much appreciated.

(or to be more precise - you can apply but the application will likely get refused).
