GP as a Referee For Passport Application

Dear Seniors

I am sorry I know this question must have been asked many times previously but I could not find it here on this board.

Can I use my GP again as a Referee for the Passport Application? I used it at the time when I applied for Naturalisation and then my GP mentioned: "Patient" in how you know the applicant section, and it worked for me.

Has anyone got any experience of being refused on the grounds of GP as a Passport Application Referee. As GPs are no more in the list of HO people who can countersign.

I would appreciate replies.

Don't worry mate , its fine to use your GP as long as you have known him for at least 2 years . They won't deny you a passport , relax and enjoy .

I hope they don't return it. I send it and then wait and see.

Thanks for the help.
