received my approval today however, i have to wait another 2 weeks until i can book the ceremony ( have to wait for the letter from council)..


can someone please tell me how long it takes the HO to send out the citizenship certificates to the council ?

i know the council will send out the letters through 2nd class post and it being near xmas time, the postal times are nothing beyond a joke these days...

it will help if someone could tell me when did they get the invites from council ? is it 10 days or the full 14 days..

Usually a week after you receive the approval letter , that was my case anyway . I received the council invitation on the same day my Home Office ceremony invitation arrived . Give it until next week , you should have it .
