Hi There,
It would be a great help, if you could help me to sort out following queries:
Little background: Me and my wife have got ILR [settlement visa] in Aug 2011 and we went to visit our family in May 2012 and due to medical issues my wife has to stay there and we have a child born [Oct 2012 ] in India. My wife and child both are in India at the moment and now thinking to come back in Feb/March. By the time, I did apply for my citizenship and have got it on 05.12.2012 and now I have applied for British Passport.
01 : What VISA shall we have to apply for this child born in India?
02 : When can I apply for this child's British citizenship? Can I apply for British citizenship straight away once child come to UK ?
03 : Can I apply British Citizenship from India, rather than Visa and then bring them here bit later? [ may be in June/July ]

You can't apply for registration from abroad. You can apply once the child is in the UK but although there are no residence requirements, as the application is at discretion, I suggest you wait a few months and not apply the next day he lands in the country.

One more query:

I'm not familiar with Indian immigration but at the time of the birth, both parents were Indian. The child was born in India. What else can he be other than Indian?

I suggest you ask your questions in
immigrations for family members section which is more appropriate than this section.
