Hello All,

I have a query regarding the citizenship.

I am an Indian citizen.My husband recently got his naturalization done and i have ILR.

We are expecting and will become parent sometime in April.

My question is; if i deliver the baby in India then will he/she will automatically get the British citizenship ( as my husband is a British citizen) or there is some other rule for this ?

I will really appreciate any advice on this topic.

Thanks for your reply. I have gone through that section but still that does not give a clear picture of my case. Not sure about will my baby be eligible for BC if born outside UK ?

The clear picture is that your child will be a British Citizen, simple.
