Impact of 7 month absence on naturalisation application

My sister has had ILR for almost 4 years now. She is married to a Brit (so needs 3 years to citizenship).
While the total number of absences (inc in final year) are not an issue but in second last year there was a continuous absence of 7 months.
Can someone tell me if this is an issue?
I know for ILR application, more than 6 months of absence breaks the residence period and restarts the clock for calculating the residence period.
Is that rule applicable in case of naturalisation too?
