first time child passport application

Hi there,
I am applying for my daughter first british passport from overseas (Canada) and in the list of documents requested i need to send parents birth certificates, mine is an original one(canadian)but the one from her father (british) is a certified one from General Register Office in UK. My question is :Will it be OK if one of birth cert from a parent is certified? Although the one for our daughter is full long original one.
