Me, my wife and my baby all are in India.

I am a naturalized British national, my wife is on Indian passport. We got married last year, I applied for Uk visa for my wife and she got refused in September. My wife was pregnant at that time and she gave birth on Monday 25 th February.  I have asked them to review the application in September and they came back to me last week saying that they have over turned their decision. My solicitor advised me that my child will automatically obtain British citizenship by descent. I will be travelling by March 20th and I will be sending my wife's passport for visa stamping. I can send in my original British passport and my naturalized certificate. I want my passport before 20th to travel back. I won't be able to send my wife's original passport as I will be sending to get stamped. What is the other proof do they accept equivalent to passport. If I send the passport application for baby how long does it take to get the passport. Please advise as my wife cannot travel without my son. My wife and son have proposed to travel by April 15th, will he get passport before that date. Or is there anyway I can request for emergency travel document. If there is no other option then i will stick with new British passport. I got the birth certificate, I can apply for British passport for my son.

On the passport form they which address should I use for address on section 1a (uk address or local address in India where I stay during my visit).
Who can counter sign the form, local British high commission is no more doing the counter signature. Can I ask a solicitor in India to do it.
