Fathers nationality unknown

Question 1.25 asks about fathers nationality. What if you don't know? Can we leave it blank?

it is not believable but practical, so do you mean that child's father has no passport at all? or do you mean that father has left mother and she does not know what to write?

when you fill out any form regardless of what it is for,you are asked to answer the question to the best of your knowledge. if you do not know one answer you leave it blank and add in additional information . unknown etc... some people do not know the date of birth of their parents others hardly even seen their parents .so what nationality they may have would not be known perfectly normal.
