Hi All

Can someone please advise if I know a british recruitment consultant for more than 3 years via emails/phone but never met him in-person though, can I still use his reference on application for naturalisation. Is there a requirement to have met the referee in-person.

Thanks for any assistance in advance.

"Each referee should have known you personally for at least 3 years". Emphasis on the word personally.

Thank you for your reply.

Please advise if it is OK if I get reference from past two ex-colleagues (both british and one of them is manager). I knew them over 3 years in this way, that I started working for them on contract from jan 2010 and finished on april 2012.

Please confirm, will that cover my reference part of naturalisation application correctly.

Many thanks.
