I have spent 5 year and 11 months (4 year 11 Months ON WP + 1 YR ON ILR) in U.K. Can I apply for Citizenship? Reason why i am confused is I got my ILR (in person) after 4 year and 11 months. Do I need to spend 6 years in total? I am 1 month short of 6 years and have already booked appointment with NCS next week.
Sorry if it is silly question but want to confirm before applying.

You can apply for citizenship 1 year after you obtained your ILR. No less than 1 yr.

Thanks I have completed 1 year with ILR. ILR was obtained on 24th March 2012. Can you please confirm if there is requirement of completing 5 year before obtaining ILR or 5 year period is required in total? I got ILR after 4 year 11 months

It doesn't matter whether you got ILR after 4Y 11m or 5Y or whatever combination.
All you need to check if you were in the UK exactly 5 years before the date of naturalisation application and that you have ILR status for atleast 12 months.
