I am applying to register my child as a British citizen but i am not sure what form to use. My child is 15 years old and was born in the UK. she has lived in the UK her whole life. Both her father and i have gotten our ILR and are now British citizens who hold a British passports. So which form is best to use form MN1 or form T and how do i go about applying for the registration?
Thank you
best regards

MN1 under section
1(3) may be easier, so that child does not have to satisfy any residential requirements as specified under section
1(4).

Section
1(3) is also applicable when child is under 18.

I'm sorry to ask another question but i feel as though my case will not be as straight forward because my child was born with a different name than her name now. Her name was changed because i got divorced and my husband wasn't her biological father. So she her birth was re-registered and she got a new surname and dads name was changed on her birth certificate. she lost her British citizen status as she gained it because my husband was British. Her biological father didn't have ILR at the time of her birth. Will i still be able to use the form MN1 or will i have to use another and if so which one?
Thanks

Under section
1(3) (child born in UK), it's
sufficient that at least one
parent subsequently has ILR or British citizenship.

Thanks so much for clarifying that. Everyone is telling me different things. I was so confused but I'm going to apply using mn1 and hope for the best
