I have two queries as i want to travel in Dec this year and need to book tickets now.

- I will complete 12 months of ILR on 17 Oct. There are some new requirements for naturalization / BC applications starting 28 Oct 2013.My queries are:

- If i send citizenship form on 17 October 2013, do i need to send my Indian passports as well.
- I believe it takes 2-3 months to get naturalization certificate. Hence, should i assume that i will get approval by Jan 2014 only. Can i travel on Indian Passport to India in Dec 2013.

I want to apply in October due to the new rules on English requirements. I do not want to pay anything extra for these new rules.

you do not have to send your passport or any of the orignal document including your biometric card if you use Nationality Checking Service from your council or any council in UK which provides this service.

Thanks for your quick response. One more query: Once i send my AN1 form as a joint application and MN1 for my single child on 17 Oct, can i travel in Dec 16 to India on Indian passport.
