One of my friend wants your help,

His parents had 5 years visit visa and they last entered on this visa July 2008 and then I applied for them ilr as my sponser both father and mother which they got ilr on nov 2008 so for bc time start from visit visa which will be July or from ilr nov 2008???

Need your advice plz

Any time legally in the UK (unless exempt from immigration control) under any visa will count towards the residency requirement. Therefore, time spent on a visit visa will count.
