Does having huge debts affect on the good charater

Hello Members,
Im plnning to apply for BC next month, but im under huge debts and have been missing on the payment and did not paid for past one year to the banks. Does this will have any impact on the my application for BC being refused on good character basis. Please let me know.

Thanks for you help, please let me know how to move forward now, should I contact my banks and start paying them. Also I have checked trust online and there is no ccj registered against me or and bankruptcy on insolvance register too. Please help me and advice me how to proceed forward.

Contact the charities in the link and start a repayment plan. In such case your character should be fine.
