2 approval letters wih same poll/cover note numbers?

Hi, today me and my wife received our approval letters, however I am concerned:
Both letters for me and my wife have the same poll cover note no.
Is this normal?

No, not normal at all.
Write to UKBA and ask for another "poll cover number" (whatever that is).
If you do not receive a reply within two weeks, hire a solicitor and file for a Judicial Review. Say that you are not happy with the approvals if there is only one "poll cover number" (whatever that is).

I suggest you email them as soon as possible. They ask you to contact them if you don't receive the invitation letter within two weeks.
No need for solicitors just yet.

The guy already has received approval, just not happy with it.

I suggest you email the Home Office and also contact your local council to confirm if they have two certificates.
Make sure you quote reference number name and dates of birth.

Don't worry I also received the same poll nos / Cover note nos for my family ( myself, wife and son) .we didn't do anything. We booked the ceremony through the council and on the oath ceremony day they gave all naturalisation certificate. Reason they gave same poll nos coz you applied as a family and hence same poll no. So I wouldn't worry much about that much.
