Travelling after submitting application for BC

I'm sorry if this question has been asked and answered before but I would like to find out if one can travel after submitting their application for naturalisation?
I was planning to take a holiday after submitting my AN application.

From my personal successful experience, you can apply (at NCS in my case) and travel the same day
