Dear Seniors,

About the referee.
I have just confirmed with my GP about the referee, They do it for 70 pounds. and only a doctor will sign it not a nurse. Are doctors eligible as referee? I was reading it has to be only nurse.

Please if anyone can confirm

Many thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. They are charging too much for it honestly, for two of us it costs 140 pound.

Can I go to our bank, where we are since came to UK, and asked the official to sign? Will it be accepted. I can see the bank is in the official list, but of course they do not know us personally. What do you guys suggest? Will it be acceptable still?

Thanks.

You can get a banker to sign it as Bank Officials are on the accepted list of referees. My wife got her personal banker and the branch manager to sign the form as they have known her for more than 3 years
