Dear members,

I am applying for registration for my daughter under section 1(3) and needed some clarifications in filling out the form.

1. Is it correct for me to leave the section 2 and 3 blank (i think it is not applicable for children born in UK)? - my child is uk born and is 2 years old.
2. should i send both parent's passport and ILR residence permit or is it enough to send only one parent's PP and BRP card?

Thanks very much in anticipation of your replies.

Hi,
Just leave it blank (Section 2 , as this section is for an application in respect of a child who was born abroad)
Leave it blan (Section 3, as if the application is in respect of a child born abroad to parents who are british citizen by decent under section 3(2) or 3(5).
One person BRP is enough
Best of Luck

What are you doing in section from 1.21 till 1.39 ?
some experts says about those that leave it blank too as " this section is filled because the child might already be a British citizen without you realize it. To decide whether they already have British citizenship by decent, so we need details about parents.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply.
I am planning to fill in the details about parents as i dont think it can adversely affect the application though I am 100% sure my child is not british already.

Thanks again.
