My son's fast-track 5 day Passport application submitted this week in London passport office. Even after reminding many times in London Passport office didn't accept his current Indian passport saying its not needed!. But they took his UK birth certificate. Any one else had similar experience ? Or this is just another incompetent case worker? If so I have submit Passport again.? I am confused.
My son is UK born, and we got ILR last year.

Just update for the forum..
My son's Passport received today (Just one Full working day it took for fast track Passport !! ), So for naturalised child it's not needed to submit their existing foreign Passport while applying for first UK Passport. Only Naturalisation certificate & Birth certificate will do.
But again it might vary from case worker to care worker !!
Fantastic Fast track service - applied on Saturday after noon. Got passport & original document by DX Tue Evening. Great..
