Hello,
I posted my application for naturalisation today and only now realized that I sent them my passport whereas for Life in the UK test I used my EU identity card. How stupid of me! I know that the guide says that you are expected to provide the same one. Do you think this can delay my application? I am really thinking about going to the post office tomorrow morning and sending them my ID with a letter of explanation.

Idnt think u should hurry too much regarding that as I never sent the ID I used when I took the life in the UK but my application was approved in 12 days though some cases are different . If they stil need the ID they wil write u other wise u may lost it if u decided to send it now . This advise is out of my own experience ur case may be different from mine

Thanks for sharing your experience!
I wonder if anyone heard of a case when ukba requested the applicant to provide the id they used for LIUK test. Thanks!

I think there is nothing to worry about. If they need it, they will write to you soon. As they have all your records on the file, I think they will never ask you to provide anything more.
