Hi experts,

I have few questions and I cannot find them on form. Please if anyone can clear my doubts. My case is 2 yrs HSMP+ 3 yrs Tier1 + 1 year ILR and my wife live during all that time with me.

1. Myself and my wife are applying together as joint application so the payment fee that I need to enter should include the registration fee. Therefore It will be in total : £1550 + 80 + 80 = £1710? Correct me if I am wrong.

2. I was married to my wife before I applied HSMP. My wife last name was different before marriage, and she has my firstname added as her last name after marriage which was before even I applied HSMP. Do we need to mention her old name too?

3.Under the good character requirement, it states
3.5 Address of tax office or tax office reference. Now what should I fill in here? I work as full time, and our account depts do the tax and salary stuff? Please if anybody can confirm

4. During my wife total continuous stay, she had to go to backhome for 6 months. During that period, I found and lived in a different area to save some costs and lived in sharing. Technically, she was not present in that address as I did after she moved backhome. And when she arrived again, I took another suitable accomodation again to accomadate her. Therefore. I only lived in that address. Do we need to mention in her application about that address too or as she did not live there and she was back home during that time, I should leave that. Please if anyone can confirm that too.

My questions may sound silly, but if anyone can shed their comments would be great.

Not an expert but trying to help....

Q1) That is correct.

Q2) In the form AN 1.6 mention old name and put married name in 1.5

Q3) If you are in full time employment, I am sure you would have received a P60 from the HMRC. From the latest one fill up the address.

Q4) For your stay you put it as is and the period you stayed in a shared accomodation, put that address. Mention that it was a HMO shared accomodation in additional information section.

As for your wife since she was out of the country you will have to declare it in page 7 and put the total days
cheers

A joint application is £1550 that includes the ceremony fee.

THanks Amber

ilrapp2012,

Q1)The fee is totally 1550 not 1710.

Amber has kindly pointed out the mistake. Multi-tasking has its perils :-)
cheers
