Hi

I will be applying for British Citizenship in the beginning of next year. At the moment I am living in a rented flat which is on my name but soon I want to change to a shared accommodation. When I am about to apply for citizenship what kind of address proof I need to show? Do I need to ask any specific docs from the landlord for address proof as all bills are included in that? Kindly advise

Thanks
Haris

If you have a passport covering the residency period then that's fine, you just have to list your address over the last 5 years.

Thanks for your reply
Right now I hold ILR after 5 years of stay and I am Indian passport holder.
Can you kindly elaborate what you mean by "If you have a passport covering the residency period then that's fine" -??

Thanks

The passport will suffice that you have been in the UK for 5 years thus no address proof will be required.
