Hello!

After all these years it is time for my citizenship application :D
I just want to double check I am applying at the right moment.

I entered the UK on 9 Sep 2010 on a Fiancee visa.

Got married later that month.

Transferred to a Spouse visa in Nov 2010.

Gained ILR in Nov 2012.

I am going to apply for BC based on marriage so I guess I can apply in Sep 2013 because I will have completed 3 years of being physically present in the country. Is that right?

Does it matter that I had not been married to a Brit when I entered the UK?
Or is the 3 years counted from when we were married?

Thanks!

(I'm excited and nervous at the same time :P )

Yes it is! I never made friends based on their professional qualifications. I should have planned ahead properly
