Hi,

My wife has registered a new company in May this year & she is the director of the company. her company hasn't started any business yet, however company is registered & she has received letter from hmrc & also a reference number in the letter (Not unique tax reference number). my wife does not work anywhere else, hence she is currently a house wife. please can u let me know what should we enter for her occupation & other details within 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 & 3.5 of form AN. as far as we remember, she did not provide her NI Number while registering her company, hence there isn't any details available about she being a director of her company when we look at her NI Number & tax reference number

we have an appointment next week with NCS & ur timely help will be highly appreciated

Thanks,
Amar

thanks a lot for ur reply, i will mention homemaker

i had another query, please can u reply, i would like to know what should i mention in section 6.6 in form AN. my wife have stayed 562 days in India in the last 6 years. major absence is continuosly for more than a year when she was on maternity. i own a flat in the UK & my wife is not a joint owner, however, my wife, my daughter & i live in our flat. what should i exactly mention in section 6.6 so that home office can consider my wife's application. here's section 6.6 from the form

6.6 ✔ *I declare that, although I do not meet all of the statutory requirements for naturalisation, I believe➤
that, in view of the following special circumstances, the Home Secretary should treat me as fulfilling
those requirements or waive the need in my case to fulfil them

many thanks for ur reply

Thanks,
Amar

Mention the fact in the additional info page and attack your daughter's birth certificate and other forms of evidence of the materity happening in India and you should be fine. They have discretion and normally tend to ignore 480days over 5years, here its 82 days over another year and how you present it will be the key.

Yes you check 6.6 and bolster it with some documentary evidences.
Mention it was for maternity
Throw in Cultural and Religious custom of having the first baby in maternal home.
Good Luck
