Change of name: BEFORE or AFTER Naturalisation?

Hi all,
its me again.
I would like to change me name and register it in a deed poll. I was wondering should I do it before I apply for British citizenship or after? Couldnt find any thread with this topic. Anybody has esperiences with this?

so long as you intimate the Border agency with the facts whether it is with the application or post making the application. No issue.

just recommend the required name on your citizenship form and give them the reason as to why you want to change your name from current to the one you recommend. they will do it for you, I did that with my name and am registered with the new name.:
