I applied for British citizenship in April 2013, after long wait and after 05 months i involve my MP in my case. they replied to my MP that your constituents case is allocated to senior case worker. he is waiting a file from DPU. soon he received the file, he will get in touch with your constituents.

Today i received call from case worker, he says the situation is this we got file today, we gone have a look in to it. we hopefully we will get touch to you shortly, okay, no problem, take care,

anybody receive such type of call

Someone else did receive a similar call a while back. I think its just to satisfy the criteria that they have contacted you. Good new will follow soon.

Yes, as now it is with case worker and he has said they are going to look into it.

case worker says i will contact u, no clear indication that he will give decision or they use formal language.


i contacted him via email, i offered him, if u need any thing from me, i am happy to provide without delay.

but no response.
