Hello

I am a British Citizen (since 1981) and my wife has ILR (Granted in July 2008)

At the moment we are considering applying for Naturalisation. We have two concerns
a) on 14/08/2011 - She had a driving incident for which we went to court on 25/01/12 and paid £235 fine and received 6 penalty points. The offence code is IN10 and the convicting court code is 1911.

With the above in mind - do we need to declare this on the application, given the comments re offences over 12 months old. Also baring in mind the FPN is it worth applying now or are we better of waiting till three years have passed.

b) Qualifications -
- My wife passed her 'Life in th UK Test' in 06/2008.
- She also attained the City & Guilds Entry 1 Cert in ESOL Skills for life (Speaking & Listening Entry 1; Writing Entry 1; Reading Entry 1) - with PASS in 06/2008
- She also attained the Entry Level Certificate in ESOL Skills for life (Entry 2) - Speaking & Listening Entry 2 in 05/2009; Writing Entry 2 & Reading Entry 2; both in 08/2009.

Will these qualifications be enough - I am concerned if they are recognised by the HO as the all the documents states somenthing about B1 level and lists the ESOL but from a select few institutions (I have contacted of OfQual and they confirm that my wife's qualifications are old but recognised by QCA)

I am new to forums and am not sure if I have omitted anything - but if anyone can help then I would very much appreciate it.

Thanking you in advance.

As your spouse has a non-custodial conviction (not an FPN), she'll have to wait until 25/01/15.

Thank you for your response

Are the qualifications upto date or will she need to do more studying in line with this - She also has NVQ 2 in childcare
