Australian/Irish national after 5 years residence

Hi,
I arrived in the UK Nov 2008 on a UK Ancestry Visa in my Australian Passport. (both parents and grandparents are British/Irish citizens)
I'm still resident in the UK.
In 2011 i obtained Irish citizenship.
I've now been resident in the UK for nearly 5 years and wonder what my next step should be to obtain British citizenship.
Should i apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain or Right of Abode? I entered the UK on my Ancestry Visa and although i'm an EEA national i haven't been exercising treaty rights for 5 years yet (as EEA citizenship only obtained in 2011). I have however been working full time for the past 5 years and have not had long absences from the UK.
I'm married to a non EEA national. As part of obtaining his Residence Card i have a Registration Certificate from 2011.
