Eligibility for British Citizenship

Hello,

I received my ILR this year in February. I came to the UK on 27 September 2010, have studied in the UK on my spouse visa and taken Life in the UK test aswell. I think I have fulfilled all conditions for naturalisation except that I have more than 90 days absences in the final (third) year.

My questions are:
1) This year I am eligible for BC but I have over-stayed outside the UK (Pakistan) for 4 months. Can I apply for BC this year, given that I stayed outside the UK for 150 days in this year.

2) Do I have to appear in any language requirement exam? I have a degree from UK university and passed LiUK test aswell.

Regards

1. Can you mention the dates you were away from UK?

2. No other test is required.

I have been absent from the UK:
1) 2011 ( 10 Aug - 10 Sept)
2) 2012 ( 27 April - 10 June)
3) 2013 (14 June - still in Pakistan but planning return in two weeks)

Thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately you will have to wait until your absenses are 90 days or less in the year preceeding application. In your case it will be 14th September 2014.
