Child Travel when MN1 registration is pending

Hello

My wife and I came here on work permit and became ILR holders a couple of months back. At the time, we did not apply ILR for our UK born child since we wanted to register the child as citizen through MN1 route.

I sent the MN1 through an NCS office last month, and have not received the registration certificate (fees was debited). But all of a sudden, we have an urgent need to travel out of the country due to a family medical situation.

The question is - should we apply for a visa for my child in our home country? It does not make sense because she technically has the right of abode. Can someone help?

Thanks

Child does NOT "technically" have right of abode. If you want to travel with child, child needs an ILR stamp.
