Hi Gurus,

I did IELTS (Band 6) for entry clearance which is now expired coz it is only valid for 2 years.

Do I again need to prove CEFR (B1)?

I see following quoted statement at following link and my interpretation is that I do not need to prove CEFR (B1) again.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... hip/kol-uk

"If you already have a qualification at B1 level
Applicants who already have an English language qualification at B1 level or above will not be
required to take another one. For example, someone who demonstrated a knowledge of English
equivalent to B1 level when applying for entry clearance will not be required to take a further test in
order to qualify settlement."

Any clarification will be great!

Thanks in anticipation!

I spoke to them about my wife, you don't need to give it again.
