Hi,

Me and Wife have ILR and are long due for applying for Naturalisation. Our daughter was born here in UK and at that time we were not having ILR.

So I think I have to Register her for Britich Citizen ship and Me and Wife have to go go Naturalisation.

We are thinking of applying soon and we will use AN and MN1 forms.

The question is can we all send the application in one post as the address to wend the application is same.

And the other question is how to address the issue of the documents for the daughter's application as we will attach all the documents with our (me and wife) application.

Does that mean that we can put everything in one envelop and thay can consider tha documents for all the applicants e.g. marriage certificate, fees in one lumpsum, and so on

Since I have been in the process of applying for Naturalisationa and Registration the following has happened.

My daughters reference was signed a month ago and mine was on 3rd december.

I am arranging for the documents and I was busy at work. I will be posting the application in the coming two or three days.

Do you think the references are too old ?
Shall I get the referees to sign once again on new sheets ?

This is OK.

It's not a requirement that reference must be recent and yours is just a month... Go ahead and submit

I came to UK in 2003 as a student and the got work permit in 2007.

What should I write in 2.1 where it is asking for date and place first arrive in UK

Jambo, it says that when you came to UK with an intention to live here. As a student in 2003 I did not have intention to live here and should not have too.

However when I was offered a job then the situation changed.

So don't you think the 2007 would be the date ?

That question in the form is badly worded. 2003 is the better answer (and what the HO expect to see) but you can also put 2007. It doesn't really matter.

So if I say 2007 then the problem is port of entry as I was in the UK when WP granted.

Whould the photo be less than month old when it reach the HO ?

that's why 2003 is a better answer.
