hi there,

Getting naturalised over the next few days and reviewing what i need to fill out for the passport application. it looks like one of the sections asks for grandparent info which it suggests i need to fill in since both my parents were born out of the country.

Do I really need to fill this in?! Quite overkill given I was naturalised and am not claiming based on ancestry!

answer is NO, INFORMATION IS NOT REQUIRED IF YOU'RE GOING THROUGH THE NATURALISATION ROUTE.

You don't need to provide grand parents detail as i did not provided in my application and got passport within two weeks.
