hi I just need a help
1: I am from Pakistan and I am British from naturalisation about 2 year ago my wife she is from Pakistan she still there. she never been to UK and I have a son just 5 months old in Pakistan with his mom so what is the process for him to bring him to the UK????? thanks

You are a british Citizen. You will need to bring your wife to UK on a Spouse Visa and she will on completing 3 years in UK she can apply for her british citizenship.

As you are bringing the Child as a dependant and your wife too , you must meet the financial requirements(Conditions) and show that you have accomodation for them without depending on public funds.

If you got BC before your child was born, your child is British by Descent and you can apply directly for a passport in Pakistan.

Your wife needs to apply for spouse visa on VAF4A and you will need to meet the financial requirements. Your wife will be issued with a visa for 2.5 years and this will have to be renewed for another 2.5 years as your wife will only qualify for ILR after 5 years on spouse visa.

Once she has ILR, she can immediately apply for BC as spouse of British citizen.

I misread ''I have a son with his mom''. I thought this meant different from'' I have my son with his mom''. I should have cross checked. And the 3 yrs was a blooper.

You can apply for child's passport by clicking on the above link.

Before you start, make sure that your child has a proper full birth certificate in Pakistan, and all details and dates are absolutely correct. Make sure that birth certifcate has father's name (your name) spelt exactly as it is in your british passport and in right order. Even a minor discrepancy in the application for passport application from pakistan may lead to severe delays. Give yourselves at least 6 months before you will see child's passport.

I know a guy who has been waiting for nearly 3 years, and still does not know when his child will get passport.

You can apply for your child's "certificate of entitlement to the right of abode" before your wife's visa.

I hope you know that you need to earn at least £ 18600 per year (before tax) to apply for her visa.

Just out of curiosity how did you get BC? I am asking this because your English is very poor so I presume that you have never been on a student or highly professional category visa unless you have been married to someone here and came on a spouse visa and then you got separated(as usual)!

Some people talk about chain migration. But this trend should be called daisy chain migration. Someone calls you over to UK, you split, then you call someone over.

Dear all maybe you can give me some advice. I applied for British naturalization via Post and I got a letter several days ago from HO. They request from me P60's forms. I lost it and I provided to HO instead of my P60's Employment history and National insurance contribution forms from HMRS (HM Revenue & Customs) what should be enough. At least I checked in this forum and some people did the same. Do you know I am in trouble or it should be fine? Unfortunately I dont have all of my pay slips as well and not all of my previous employers can provide me official letters that I used to work in those companies. Thank you very much for your advice.

Thank you very much for your reply. I think these docs should be ok specially if NCS told me that Employment history from HMRS is fine and I dont need to send my P60's forms, but HO sent me an official letter where they demand from me original P60's forms. It is quite weird that NCS and HO have different opinion.
