Hi everyone, I am a new member on this website. I have a question regarding my wife's status. We have spent thousands already to get her permanent in this country but now we don't want to spend alot so thought we should seek some advice here. She has an ILR granted in October, 2013 but she has been living in this country since Sept, 2007 as a student. I just want to know if we can apply her passport now so we can go to canada in april for a wedding rather than getting a visa.
Thanks for any help.

Nope - you need to spunk up another £820 or so for Naturalisation. Neutralisation can be very painful.
