Payment Query - Long Shot

Hi All,
I know its a long shot but here goes.....
I am applying through the NCS route in a week and intend to use funds in an over account which I have a Mastercard debit card for here in the UK, The reason I ll rather let the fund from the oversea account be debited for the application is because of the exchange rate and I might be about £200 out of pocket rather than use the Debit Master card.
Note I use the said Mastercard (Debit Card) all over the Uk for purchases and online as well e.g Amazon, Argos Tesco etc.
So has anyone any experience of this situation before?
